Pros and cons of FitSync® app for iPhone and iPad

FitSync® app good for

I tried the other apps and and this is the one Im keeping. Its easy to use, tons of workouts and exercises and great vids. Im not limited to just a handful of exercises or workouts and I dont have to pay to get more workouts. Love the multi-week programs and schedule so my workout shows up every day automatically. If you want to create a new workout on the fly you can just go to the website on your phone, some other reviewers missed that. Its cool that I can have my workouts tweet and post in FB and they also have widgets which I have in my blog. Its by far the most comprehensive app around. At $5 its a steal.
This is a great app, butt if you already have a fitsync account you have to start a new one to get the free subscription. If this is an issue for you just let them know and theyll probably help you out like they did for me. They got my old account moved over to the free one super easy.
Great app, easy to use, huge exercise library and u can create ur own. Most flexible n user friendly Ive tried. Matching web account is nice 4 looking at stats n creating or picking plans n stuff. Gives you a combination of a full desktop app linked to your mobile offline app. Love it plus has a schedule function so I can schedule a month of workouts and they show up on the app every morning, sweet. JR775 use 2 fingers to scroll n 1 to swipe - thats 4 supersets when u want 2 switch between exercises quick. Wish I could give this 50 stars to balance out d people who complain b4 checking a user guide! I had a question on scheduling programs n tech support pinged back in 10 minutes, real helpful so for that they have my loyalty forever. PS the answer is you can make a 6 week fitness plan and submit it to the library to share and your friends can get the same schedule you created. I referred dis 2 all my workout buds we all love it, check me in d fitsync rankings 103 pushups baby!
I was tired of using a spreadsheet to track my progress, print workouts, etc. I searched for an online workout tracker and found FitSync, whose website offers workout routines, scheduling and tracking, etc. Its also flexible enough to allow users to create/enter their own exercises and workout routines. The FitSync app brings the website functionality to your mobile device and is an excellent way to read your workouts and record results in real time. After I bought the app, I had a couple of questions. I emailed the company and someone got back to me within 1 business day...excellent customer service !! If youre looking for a great online workout tracker, check out FitSync. If you already use FitSync, get the app !!!

Some bad moments

This Ap does not recognize my network (every other Ap does). It crashed when I attempted to register. All I wanted was a good, triable, and flexible log for my workouts. FitSync is not it.
Difficult to use. You can not make individual workouts without logging in to website. Unless I can make my workout from the app I cant see using it. A waste of $5 in its present form.
I would love to come back and give a more positive rating, once Im able to launch the app on my iPhone without it crashing. I installed it on my iTouch as well. Same problem. Tried all different tactics to fix the issue - no dice. If this app was free, it would be gone - not worth the effort. Im excited about the possibilities the app has to offer. Im hoping that maybe, one day, Ill get to explore them - then comeback and change my rating. Update: tech support did help me get the app up and running. However, I believe I just copied a short cut from their own website and didnt actually fix the app I had installed perviously. They asked me not to use that one. At first I was able to see the different workouts through my iPhone. I was disappointed when I saw that the descriptions were cut short, and because the text boxes have no scrolling capability, I was not able to view the full description. Now, im not able to access the workouts at all through my phone. When I logged in on my MAC, I did not find the application to be user friendly at all. Im guessing they are not concerned about that because they already have my $5. This app has been deleted from my phone. I hate it when I feel like I completely wasted my money.
Cant find workouts that I can use. To create your own workouts, you have to go to website. The process is long and arduous. While creating your own routine, you have to choose from their library of exercises. If the exercise you have in mind is not in there, youre SOL !!! I feel ripped off!!!!
Waste of money. Using website and app is confusing. App runs very slow on my 2nd generation ipod touch. Unusable.
If I had to use this app I would stop lifting. The app has no congruency. Hard to use/learn. Dont buy this APP at all. Total waste!
